Ruby Beach, WA
Summer will be gone before we know it....I am trying to savor these last days of warm weather, uninterruped sleep, and relative peace. I know it will all be coming to an end soon! We took a fun weekend getaway to the Olympic Peninsula with Mom and Tony. We visited Ruby Beach, the Hoh Rainforest, Port Angeles, Forks, Ludlow Falls, and the quaint town of Poulsbo. It was a busy weekend! It felt great to get out of town for a bit and explore some new territory. We'd like to camp there next summer--anyone else up for a trip???
Truman and Murphy. Paws on the ground=0
whew! all tired out...
Right after we returned home, Darin was packing again for a business trip to Hawaii. While he was gone, Grandma SuSu came to stay with us. It is always wonderful to have her here. We went to library storytime, the zoo, and hung out around the house. She made some adorable curtains for the baby's room. She was a lifesaver, watching Bailey in the evenings while I was working. It gave Bailey some special time with her SuSu, which she loved.
We love our SuSu!

Darin's home again and we're getting back into a routine. We're still trying to sell our house while simultaneously preparing a room for the new baby. We believe it will sell in the Lord's timing! We're in pray and wait mode now...
